The Dainese Racing 5 Men's Leather Jacket in Black/Gold is the latest evolution of Dainese's iconic Racing line, engineered for riders who demand both performance and comfort in warm-weather conditions. Constructed from fine 1.2 mm Tutu cowhide leather with a regular yet sporty fit, this jacket delivers the refined aesthetics and durability that define Dainese's racing heritage. Every stitch reflects decades of motorsport expertise, making it as at home on a track day as it is on a summer touring ride.
Ergonomics sit at the heart of the Racing 5's design. The Veloce Racing Neck collar reduces pressure on the neck during extended rides, while wide S1 bi-elastic fabric panels and hip adjustment systems ensure unrestricted movement in all riding positions. The jacket is predisposed to be worn directly over the Dainese Smart Air™ airbag system without sizing up, integrated loops allow single-movement attachment and removal, keeping the airbag correctly positioned at all times. The sleeve fit is precision-engineered to prevent protectors from shifting during a fall, so protection is always exactly where it needs to be.
When conditions change, the Racing 5 adapts. Two chest air vents and two side extraction zip vents manage airflow during high-temperature sessions, while an internal waterproof pocket keeps electronic devices safe if the weather turns. The jacket meets EN 17092 Class AA certification and houses composite protectors to CE Level 2 on both elbows and shoulders, plus replaceable aluminium shoulder inserts engineered for a more natural sliding motion in the event of impact. A dedicated pocket accommodates both G1/G2 back protectors and a Double Chest protector, giving riders the freedom to configure protection to their exact needs.

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that Laguna Direct has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Laguna Direct recommends that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer. Refunds of any returned order will be of items, not the services incurred.

Royal Mail deliveries are sent by Royal Mail 48 so will normally arrive within a maximum of 2-3 working days. DHL deliveries are usually made within 48 hours, but may be longer for remote areas. Express shipping is usually the next working day, except for remote areas. If your item has not arrived within 5 working days on either service, then please contact us by email hello@lagunadirect.co.uk.
Returns & refunds:
Your right to cancel and return begins from when you place the order and ends 30 working days from when you received the goods. If you wish to cancel or return your order you must inform us by email at hello@lagunadirect.co.uk within this time frame. The buyer is responsible for paying the return postage and ensuring the goods are received back by us in as new condition. If you receive a faulty or broken item you will be offered either a choice of a refund or replacement. Any return postage costs if an item is faulty or broken will be paid by lagunadirect.co.uk
