Constructed from a sophisticated hybrid shell combining multiaxial carbon fibre and glass fibre layers, the helmet achieves an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio that serious riders will immediately appreciate. Beneath the shell, a multi-density EPS liner is precisely engineered to manage and absorb impact energy across a wide range of collision scenarios, delivering protection that goes well beyond the requirements of ECE 22-06 certification.
Shark has invested heavily in the aerodynamic profile of the Spartan GT Pro Carbon, drawing on decades of motorsport experience to produce a helmet shape that actively works with the rider rather than against them. The carefully sculpted exterior minimises buffeting and wind resistance at speed, reducing rider fatigue on longer journeys and improving overall stability at motorway and track speeds. The fully adjustable ventilation system features three precision-positioned air intake vents and two Venturi-effect exhaust outlets, creating a continuous flow of fresh air through the helmet interior that keeps the rider cool and focused regardless of conditions. The VZ300 visor is manufactured to a greater thickness than those found on competing helmets, providing superior resistance to stone chips and projectile impacts. It is held securely in place by a four-point locking mechanism taken directly from Shark's Race-R Pro GP racing helmet, giving riders complete confidence that the visor will remain locked under the most demanding conditions. The internal UV380 sun visor is treated with an anti-fog coating and deploys smoothly with a single finger, allowing the rider to adapt instantly to changing light without removing their hands from the bars.
Shark understands that a helmet worn in discomfort is a distraction, and the Spartan GT Pro Carbon has been developed with long-distance comfort as a core design priority. The 3D Morpho cheek pads are shaped to follow the natural contours of the face, distributing pressure evenly and eliminating the hot spots that cause fatigue on extended rides. The interior lining is constructed from Alveotec fabric, a breathable, moisture-wicking material that carries the SANITIZED label, meaning it is permanently treated to inhibit the growth of bacteria and odour-causing microbes for the life of the helmet. Two interchangeable chin curtains are included, one optimised for cold-weather riding to seal out draughts, and one lighter version for warmer conditions, allowing the rider to configure the helmet to suit the season. Shark's Emergency Release System is integrated throughout the interior, enabling paramedics and first responders to remove the cheek pads and neck roll quickly and safely in the event of an accident, minimising the risk of further injury during casualty management. The helmet is also fully compatible with the Sharkoon Prime intercom system, allowing seamless integration with communication and navigation devices without compromising the helmet's fit or safety performance.

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer. Refunds of any returned order will be of items, not the services incurred.

Royal Mail deliveries are sent by Royal Mail 48 so will normally arrive within a maximum of 2-3 working days. DHL deliveries are usually made within 48 hours, but may be longer for remote areas. Express shipping is usually the next working day, except for remote areas. If your item has not arrived within 5 working days on either service, then please contact us by email hello@lagunadirect.co.uk.
Returns & refunds:
Your right to cancel and return begins from when you place the order and ends 30 working days from when you received the goods. If you wish to cancel or return your order you must inform us by email at hello@lagunadirect.co.uk within this time frame. The buyer is responsible for paying the return postage and ensuring the goods are received back by us in as new condition. If you receive a faulty or broken item you will be offered either a choice of a refund or replacement. Any return postage costs if an item is faulty or broken will be paid by lagunadirect.co.uk
