Rizoma was born out of a challenge: Bring style and superior design into an industry is which that product was mainly seen as just a spare part. In 2001, Fabrizio Rigolo was challenged by a friend who required a unique accessory on his motorcycle. Along with his brother, Fabio, they created a mirror that would instantaneously accrue a legendary status among motorcycle enthusiasts. Using this success of this product, the two brothers gave their creativity free rein, producing ever-more bold and striking products.

Within a few years, after establishing a base in Italy and setting up the first workshop overseas, Fabrizio and Fabio started focusing on what they truly believed made a difference in the motorcycle accessory business: design. Hence the founding of Area 13, a hub dedicated to research, development and innovation. 

Today, the Rizoma brand is renowned worldwide. It expresses its own unique viewpoint and reinterprets how materials are used by nurturing unique projects in which Italian manufacturing and design merge and strengthen each other.
